Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Yoga Academy / the Georgian Yoga Federation (“Yoga Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when an authorized user connects a social media account to Yoga Academy Publisher (the “Application”) and uses its publishing functions.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information processed through the Application. It does not replace the privacy policy of TikTok or any other connected platform, which independently processes information under its own terms and policies.
2. Information the Application may process
- Connected-account information: account identifiers, display name, avatar, and other basic account information returned by the platform’s official API.
- Authorization information: access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization status, granted permissions, and token expiry information.
- Publishing information: the video file selected by the user, caption, title, privacy choice, cover selection where supported, and destination account.
- Technical information: local settings, publishing status, API responses, and error logs needed to operate and troubleshoot the Application.
3. How information is obtained
Information is provided directly by the user, generated during use of the Application, or received from a connected platform after the user completes that platform’s official OAuth authorization process.
4. How information is used
We process information only as needed to authenticate the connected account, display the correct account and available publishing options, transmit user-selected content and metadata, obtain publishing status, maintain security, and diagnose errors.
5. Storage and transmission
The current desktop version is designed to store authorization data and configuration locally on the authorized user’s device. When a user confirms a publication, the selected content and metadata are transmitted to the chosen platform through its official API. Yoga Academy Publisher does not sell personal information and is not designed to create an independent server-side copy of the selected video.
6. Sharing
Information is disclosed to the connected platform only as necessary to perform the action requested by the user, or where disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect rights and security, or expressly authorized by the user. TikTok receives and processes submitted information according to TikTok’s own privacy policy.
7. Legal grounds
Where applicable, processing is based on the user’s consent and authorization, performance of the requested publishing service, our legitimate interest in securing and maintaining the Application, and compliance with legal obligations.
8. Retention
Local authorization data is retained until it expires, the user disconnects the account, revokes access, clears the Application’s saved credentials, or the data is no longer needed for the stated purpose. Technical logs should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to diagnose and secure the Application.
9. User choices and deletion
A user may stop future access by disconnecting the account in the Application and revoking Yoga Academy Publisher in the connected platform’s account settings. To request assistance with access, correction, or deletion of Application-related information, email yoga2.ge@gmail.com. We may need to verify the requester’s identity before acting on a request.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and users should protect their device, operating-system account, and connected-platform credentials.
11. Children
The Application is a professional publishing tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use it to collect personal information from children.
12. International processing
Connected platforms may process information in countries other than Georgia. Their own privacy policies describe their international data-transfer practices.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Application, platform requirements, or applicable law. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
